Alice Stauffer Easton, 82, a much-loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 23, 2021 in Charlottesville, Virginia. Born on July 8, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy Stauffer of Charlottesville, Virginia. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bernard Earl Easton. Alice is survived by her son, Bernard Earl Easton, Jr. (Chip) and his wife, Kelley; her daughter, Brandy Easton Mullins and her husband, Christopher, all of Keswick, Virginia. She is also survived by her treasured grandchildren, Taylor, Brittany, Trenton, Emily, Carryn and Will; and many dear cousins, friends and her faithful dog, Casey.

Alice married her high school sweetheart, loved her children dearly and was so thrilled to become a grandmother.  She along with husband started Easton’s Furniture in 1964 which is still family owned today.   Alice was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville, VA. She touched many lives and will be missed by many. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Monticello Memorial Gardens, 670 Thomas Jefferson Pkwy., Charlottesville, Virginia 22902.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA, 3355 Berkmar Dr., Charlottesville, VA 22901. Arrangements are being handled by Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, VA.
