Mamie Powers Joyner, 80, passed away at her home in Goochland on Friday, December 2, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Melvin Berkely Powers and Bertha Dillard Powers of Manakin. She is survived by her sister Myrtle Malcolm, her five sons: Ronald Dunlavey, Donald Dunlavey (Debbie), Floyd Hawk, Jr, Melvin Hawk (Cindy) and Victor Hawk (Jessica), her grandchildren: Ryan Dunlavey, Aaron Dunlavey, Jason Dunlavey, Michael Dunlavey, Peyton Dunlavey, Austin Hawk, Justin Hawk and Hannah Hawk and three great grandchildren: Josie Dunlavey, Wyatt Dunlavey and Ethan Dunlavey. Norman Funeral Chapel will be handling the arrangements. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 6-8pm and A service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 8, 2022 interment to follow. Both service and visitation will be held at Norman Funeral Chapel.
