Grandstaff, Moses Samuel, 84, of Goochland, Va, passed peacefully on February 21, 2023. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann H. Grandstaff. He is survived by his son, Thomas Peplinski; two grandchildren, Travis and Taylor Peplinski; two sisters, Adell Hicks and Thelma Atkinson, and a host of nieces, nephews and church family. Sam spent his career at Philip Morris. He enjoyed working on the farm and spending summers at the “Rivah” with his many friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Dorothy Perry for her loving care and support of Sam.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23, at Norman Funeral Chapel, 2982 River Road, Goochland, Virginia, from 4 to 8 pm. A service will be held Friday, February 24th, at 2 pm, at Perkins Baptist Church, 3146 Hadensville-Fife Road, Goochland, VA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Perkins Baptist Church.
