Sadler, John Page, 79, of Barboursville, VA, passed away on August 28, 2022 at Hospice of the Piedmont after a long, courageous battle with multiple health problems. Page was born on November 9, 1942 to the late Stephen Sadler and Sarah Yancey Sadler. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Stephen J. “Joe” Sadler, Jr. Page is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jacqueline Estelle Sadler; sister, Alice S. Murphey (Raymond) of Ashland, VA; nieces, Stephanie Antonellini (Mario) and Ashley Layne (Daniel); two great nieces and two great nephews. In addition, Page had a bonus family of Jacque’s three children, Debbie Alexander, Lee Bowman and a very special stepson, Terry Bowman (Deborah); five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren as well as many close and dear friends. The family will receive visitors at Lyles Baptist Church, Palmyra, VA, on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 10am with the service to follow at 11am. Casual attire requested. A very, very good friend. I loved having a cold can with him and his humor. He has been at my house many times sharing and using his electrician and hvac skills. He loved good country food. I love him and deeply miss him.
