Ashley Michelle Brice

It is with deep regret, and the utmost sadness, we announce the untimely passing of Ashley Michelle Brice on January 8, 2022. She is the daughter of Beverly McGhee Brice, of Louisa, VA, and Richard Brice, also of Louisa, VA. She joined Fosters Creek Baptist Church at an early age and was a member of the Young Adult Choir. Ashley attended both Louisa and Fluvanna County Schools. During her short life, she studied the intricacies of food services and had enjoyed a recent promotion, in her current job, for her skills in that profession. Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William McGhee and Ella McGhee; paternal grandparents, Albert Brice, Sr. and Martha Brice.; and two uncles, Ervin McGhee and Albert Brice, Jr. She is survived by her children, Brian Garland, Briana Garland, Darian Jackson and Shania Washington; mother, Beverly Brice; sister, Maxine; brother, Williams (Kendra Pitman); father, Richard Brice (Joan); two aunts, Reverend JoAnn Brice and Gloria Talley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. A viewing will be held from 5:00-6:30pm on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, VA. A funeral will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Sheridan Funeral Home with interment to follow at Galilee Baptist Church cemetery, 3598 Three Notch Road, Kents Store, VA 23084 .
