David Wayne Cook

On the morning of March 30, 2021, David Wayne Cook, 65, was swiftly taken from this world to be with the Lord. David is preceded in death by his father and mother, Dallas and Beulah Cook. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary Carol Cook; their daughter, Tara Dallas Cook Coffindaffer; son-in-law, Johnathan Cameron Coffindaffer; and his first expected grandchild. Additionally, he is survived by his brothers, Danny Lee Cook (Bonnie), Douglas Allen Cook (Sue) and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was a courageous man that lived his life to the fullest and was true to himself. Most importantly, he lived for his wife, daughter and family. He was extremely genuine and could talk to anyone about anything. His interests included history, religion, fine jewelry and animals. He especially enjoyed traveling with his wife, Carol, to watch NASCAR races. David will be remembered most for his humor, love of Elvis, dance moves, enormous generosity and his keen ability to negotiate.
