John Wayne Johnson

John Wayne Johnson Sr. (Johnny), 59, of Cartersville, VA, passed away on October 13, 2022. Johnny is survived by fiancé Nikki Lee Wood, his five children, Jessica Acton (William), Rebekah Johnson, Nikki Johnson (Doug), John Johnson Jr. (Sara), Liam Wilson, four grandchildren, Waylon Acton, Kylie Stinson, Dale Driver, and Harper Smith, and three step children, Cody Wood, Kaycee Wood, and Dylan Wood. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 6-8pm and he will be laid to rest Wednesday, October 19,2022 at 3:00 pm. Both services will be held at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 4768 Shannon Hill Rd Columbia Va, 23038.at Mount Gilead Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.  Arrangements are being handled by Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, VA.
