Phillip Lee Langhorne

Phillip Lee Langhorne 62,  passed away on December 29th, 2019 in his home in Columbia, VA. Phillip was born December 25th, 1957 in Fluvanna County, VA., to the late Richard and Corrine Langhorne. He was the youngest boy of eight children, and in his youth, was educated in the Fluvanna County School system. Upon his graduation, he joined the US Marine Corps where he traveled the world during his years of service. Phillip returned to Richmond, VA., where he chose to make it his home and became a chef. He loved fishing, hunting, and cooking, until his health started to fail.

He leaves to cherish in his memory, his devoted children, Lontae Bell (Tosiasia) of Louisiana, Amy Shelton Walker of Richmond, VA., Phillip Jr. Bagley and Travis Bagley of Richmond, VA. He also leaves eight brothers and sisters: Harry Watkins (Mary) of Goochland, VA., James Gray (Harriet) of Palmyra, VA., Richard Langhorne Jr. (Jackie) of Richmond, VA., Walter Langhorne (Louise) of Goochland, VA., James Langhorne of Baltimore, MD., Mary Brock (Otis) of Louisa, VA., Linda Langhorne of Fluvanna, VA., Doris Miles (Early) of Goochland, VA. Phillip had  10 grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews. Also, two devoted friends, Carol Baskfield and Alvin Anderson.

Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on January 4th, 2020 at Columbia Baptist Church, 116 Rivanna St, Columbia, Virginia 23038
