Theodore A “Ted” Smith

Theodore (Ted) A Smith, age 68, passed away on June 24, 2022. Ted was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, but lived most of his life in Richmond, VA.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita T. Smith. Ted is survived by his sister, Cheryl, daughter, Heather, son, Ted Jr., grandchildren; Kristina, Nicholas, Christine, Brandon, Noah, and Zoie, great grandchildren; Taemin, Juanita (Nita), Junior, Theo, Rosie, several cousins, and so many friends. Ted was strong in his faith and shared so much with so many over the years. He was often helping others through teaching, prayer, and music. Ted loved music, and played the guitar since he was 8 years old. He was his happiest when he was playing music and sharing the word of God.  He will be missed by all those he left behind.  The funeral service will be held July 9 th @ 2:00 pm .  Chester Presbyterian Church, 3424 West Hundred Rd, Chester VA 23831 .
