Ruby Lee Tanner
On Wednesday, January 27, 2021, Ruby Lee Tanner, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord at the age of 88. Ruby was preceded in death by her father, John Hampton Loving; her mother, Ethel Cutright Loving Holiday; her son, Steven Tanner; her sister, Mildred Wyatt; and her husband of 62 years, Floyd Ray Tanner. Ruby is survived by her children, Donna Smith (Tommy), Doug Tanner, Cheryl Jordan (Jay) and Joe Tanner (Sally); her grandchildren, Michael Perkins (Rebekah), Timmy Perkins (Kacy), Jason Jordan (Anna), Ashley Goodman (Bobby) and Allison Chisholm (Scott); and her great-grandchildren, Lilly Jordan, Caleb Perkins, Avery Perkins and Liam Goodman. A graveside service will be held
at 11:00am on Saturday, February 6, 2021
at Byrd Chapel United Methodist Church in Kents Store, VA. Arrangements are being handled by Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, VA.
