Karen Ann Akron

Karen Ann Akron, née Rodgers, of Palmyra, Virginia passed away on December 12, 2021 at the age of 74, from complications of Covid 19.  Karen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and devoted nurse for 35 years. Karen was born in Queens NY by the late Calvin & Marie Rodgers. She passed away at her home as she wished, surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her beloved husband, Carey Akron. Her son’s Allen Snyder (Pornsudal), Timothy Snyder (Nikki), and daughter Stacey Cepeda (Pete).Cherished grandmother of Jacob, Paige, Kia, Charle, Erin, Abby, Ben, Gavin, and Cameron. She is predeceased by her sister of Calvin, (Diane) Rodgers and the late Richard & William Rodgers. She will be greatly missed.
