Linda Joyce Collins Barker , 73, departed this life on April 7, 2022 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA.

Joyce was born on February 16, 1949 in Charlottesville, VA to the late Carrie Elizabeth Easterling and George Jefferson Collins.

Joyce was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 55 years , James Alvin Barker. She leaves to cherish her memory three children , Carl Barker (Irma), Tina Harlow (Willie) and Beth Jones (Stacy) ; s even grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, camping, reading and playing with her grand children and great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm on Tuesday , April 12, 2022 at Sheridan Funeral Home, Kents Store, VA. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday , April 13, 2022 at Holly Memorial Gardens, 3251 Seminole Trail (Route 29), Charlottesville, VA.

Following the funeral service, the family would like to invite everyone to Macedonia United Methodist Church , Louisa , V A, for a time of fellowship and memory sharing.
