Robert Leroy Brown

Robert Leroy Brown, 89, of Palmyra, VA, departed this life on September 8, 2020. During his career as a carpenter he traveled through many states, his last was Vi rginia where he met his now pre-deceased wife, Donna Taft Brown , and shared over 25 years of marriage together . He is survived by t he 5 children of Donna Brown: Debra Wilds (Mark), Henry "Bryan" Taft, Robert "Bob" Taft, Teresa Neal (Paul) and Michael Taft (Ghizlaine); 16 grand children , 25 great- g randchildren of Virginia and a brother and sister of Pennsylvania. Bob was known for his quirky sense of humor. His friends and family will get great laughs, when they reminisce about his shenanigans. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in his name to be sent to: COMMONWEALTH CATHOLIC CHARITIES, 1601 ROLLING HILLS DRIVE, RICHMOND, VA 23229 . A priv ate family memorial officiated by Reverend Kameron Wilds , will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, VA.
