Blanche Ann “Kidd” Catlett

Blanche Ann “Kidd” Catlett, of Cartersville, Virginia, passed away November 16 th , 2021. She was born on September 4 th , 1944 in Charlottesville, Virginia, and grew up in Columbia, Virginia. Ann is predeceased by her mother and father, Ethel Mae “Taggart” Kidd and Nash Kidd Sr., three brothers, William “Billy”, Donald, and Jeffery Kidd.

Ann is survived by three daughters, Deborah Lynn Woods (Rick) of Fork Union, Patricia Ann Gills (Jay) of Cartersville, and Jennifer Wade Dawson (Randy) of Cumberland. Six grandchildren; Ashley Lawson (Trey), Zachary Woods, Brandon Tyson (Cassie), Amanda Woods, Joshua Tyson, and Mackenzie Vance, and step-grandson Andrew “Drew” Wilson. Four great grandchildren; Reaghan, Ryleigh and Easton Lawson, and Braelynn Woods, as well as a step-grandaughter, Payton Dawson. Her brother, Jerry (Servilla) of Kents Store, and several nieces and nephews. We would like to thank her caregivers Alesha Holman and Allie Hazzard of James River Hospice, as well as her dear friend Barbara Brown. Visitation will be held Friday, November 19 th from 6-8pm at Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, VA. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 20 th at 11am at Sheridan Funeral Home.
