Gregory Lee Dabney

Gregory Lee Dabney, 54, of 160 Smith Avenue, Bowdon, Georgia, departed this life on June 14, 2020 in Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born on June 14, 1966, to the late Leo Chiles and Alice Jackson Dabney (and stepfather James Dabney). He professed to Christ at an early age and joined Evergreen Baptist Church in Wilmington, Virginia. He was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Dabney, and two sisters, Betty Armstrong and Veronica Dabney. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted companion, Christine Bruce; a daughter, Brittany Dabney of Poughkeepsie, New York; a son, Anthony Dabney of Pompano Beach, Florida; a stepdaughter, Ebony Galloway of Poughkeepsie, New York; a granddaughter, Melanie; a brother, Donald Dabney and wife, Stephanie, of Stafford, Virginia; a sister, Vernette Cobbs and husband, Harry, of Stafford, Virginia; a half-sister, Sharnita Jerman of Norfolk, Virginia; and one sister-in-law, Judy Dabney of Goode, Virginia; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Sheridan Funeral Home located at 4626 Cedar Lane Road, Kents Store, Virginia
