**In Loving Memory of David Alan Fennell**
David Alan Fennell, aged 51, of Fluvanna County, passed away unexpectedly in his home on March 1, 2025. Born in La Plata, Maryland, David was the cherished son of Terry Marie Hill and William Howard Fennell.
He is survived by his three beloved children: daughters Kendyl and Karsyn Fennell, and son Micheal Fennell, who were the light of his life; his grandson Hudson Fennell; Mary Fennell and his sister Kristy M. Fennell. David's memory will also be honored by his family and friends who knew him for his kindness and charm.
David was preceded in death by his eldest brother, Timothy Fennell.
Throughout his life, David dedicated himself to his career as a plumber, where he worked for the plumbing union for over half of his life, always finding fulfillment in helping others. A man of many interests, David was actively engaged in sports throughout his childhood and continued to cherish outdoor activities. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, and especially loved baseball and football.
David was not only a devoted father but also a gentle and caring friend. He was a very loving grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his grandson. He possessed a remarkable intelligence and charisma that allowed him to connect with people easily and make friends wherever he went. His passion for life and love for his family were evident to all who knew him.
A service in honor of David will be held 1:00pm, at St. George Catholic Church, 7240 Scottsville Road, Scottsville, Virginia on March 29, 2025, attended by friends and family who gathered to celebrate his life and the joy he brought to everyone around him. David Alan Fennell will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving and compassionate soul.
