Della Mae Daniels Dudley

Della Mae Daniels Dudley, 45, of Palmyra, VA passed unexpectedly on Friday, September 18, 2020. She married Thomas Dudley in March of 2000 and they raised their children in Palmyra, VA.

She worked as a caretaker, bank teller, electrician’s helper and receptionist for the University of Virginia Heart Center. Della was beloved and made a positive impact wherever she worked. She loved painting, fishing, cooking, gardening and taking long Sunday drives with her husband.

Della shared her love of pets with Byrd, Mufasa, BooBoo, Bubba and Cheddar. She always took the opportunity to be near the water, whether it was the beach or the lake to fish. Della enjoyed being in the sun and being with her family and children. She took the opportunities to enjoy every part of life.

In addition to her devoted husband Tommy, Della is survived by her children, Hannah, Damion and T.J.; one brother and two sisters.

A memorial will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the A.R.C. Hall at 111 Kents Store Way , Kents Store, VA. Please join us to celebrate the life of Della Dudley. Refreshments will be available. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Della’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Navy Marine Corp Relief Society.  Arrangements are being handled by Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, VA.
