James Emmons English, Jr., born October 7, 1974 in Parkersburg, WV, passed peacefully on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the age of 47 years old, in Richmond, VA. James was a 1993 high school graduate of Parkersburg Catholic High School. He had worked at Wagner Metro Tire and Kroger before he found a new career working with CSX Railroad as a freight conductor which led him to move to Richmond, VA. He later became known as one of the best engineers at CSX and has been with the company for 18 years. James has been a proud resident of Goochland County, VA for the past 12 years. Everyone who knows James, knows him as a guy with a huge, caring heart and a true friend to everyone he knew. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
James leaves behind his loving parents, James English and Jennifer Stutler English; his niece, Sydney Jones, who he loved so much; his sister, Jessica English Jones, and his brother in law, Brian Jones, who he thought of as his own brother; and a lot of aunts, uncles, cousins and so many close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Mary Ann English, James Stutler, Gloria Robinson and Tom Robinson.
