Gordon M. Faulknier

Gordon Michael Faulknier, 73, of Kents Store, Virginia, passed away after a long stay in the hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Lee Faulknier and Ellen Smiley Faulknier, the love of his life, his wife Sally Faulknier, and his son George Logan Faulknier.

He is survived by his son Andrew Gordon Faulknier (Tracy) of Buckingham, his siblings: Joyce M. Lakos, Minnie B. Ferrell (Mike) of Keswick, Mary E. Langston of Florida, Charles A. Faulknier (Karen) of Keswick, Virginia, Johnny W. Faulknier (Patricia) of Kents Store, Virginia, Kenneth D. Faulknier of Ruckersville, Virginia, and Sidney W. Faulknier (Debbie) of Charlottesville, Virginia; many nieces and nephews who loved him and his dog Speckles who brought much love and happiness to him.

Gordon loved hunting and fishing. He pushed snow for the state and ran Hill Top Grocery for many years.

A visitation will be held Thursday December 19, 2024, between the hours of 6:00-8:00pm, at Sheridan Funeral Home, 4626 Cedar Lane Road, Kents Store, Virginia. A graveside service will take place at 11:00am on Friday December 20, 2024, Fork Union Memorial Cemetery, James Madison Highway, Fork Union, Virginia, with Pastor Greg Anderson of Belmont Baptist Church, officiating.

Lunch will follow the graveside service, at Belmont Baptist Church, 830 Monticello Avenue, Charlottesville, Virginia.
