Clara Louella House

Clara Louella House, 85, went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2020. She passed peacefully in her home on Shannon Hill Road in Goochland, VA and joined the love of her life, Lonnie. She was born in Snowflake, WV on May 14, 1935 to Clara Corrine Plogger Dowdy and William Allen Dowdy. She was an amazing wife, cook and most of all an amazing mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara Corrine Plogger Dowdy and William Allen Dowdy; her husband, Lonnie House, Jr.; her sister, Dorothy Rodgers; her brothers, Bill Dowdy, Bob Dowdy, Elmer Dowdy, Wade Dowdy, Wayman Dowdy and William Dowdy; and her son in law, Jackie Ray Gray. She is survived by her kids, Jacqueline Gray, Jeffrey Ramsey (Tammy) and Lonna Hornstein; her grandchildren, Jennifer Gray Spencer, Johyne Floyd, Jackie Ray Gray II, John Goforth II (Holly), Kristen Jean Hornstein (Aaron), Stan Eli Hornstein II, Dylan Hornstein (Brittany) and Jeffrey Ross Ramsey II (Jessica); great grandchildren, Hunter Gray, Chloe Floyd, Grayson Gorforth, Harlee Neilson and soon to be born, Adalynn Goforth and Lilly Ramsey.
