Jenny Tyner

Jenny Lee Tyner, 84, of New Canton, Virginia, passed away on January 14, 2024, at Autumn Care of Madison.

Jenny was born in Fluvanna County, Virginia on September 26, 1939, to James and Mary Blodgett.

She is survived by her son Golmohamad Khan and her brother James Blodgett of Palmyra, Virginia.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, David C. Tyner, her son Nurmohamad Khan, and her sisters, Edith Blodgett Osbourn and Mary Lou Blodgett.

Jenny was a long-time member of Bethel Church. She greeted her church family with a radiant smile and loving embrace.

A Funeral service will take place at Bethel Baptist Church, 227 Bethel Baptist Church Road, Palmyra, Virginia, on Saturday, January 20, at 11:00am, with a visitation one hour prior, starting at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is in the care of Sheridan Funeral Home, and they will handle her arrangements.
