Jo Ann Pace Bell, born on June 2, 1938, in Palmyra, Virginia passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, in Louisa Virginia. Jo Ann was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, known for her vibrant spirit and passion for life.

Throughout her career, Jo Ann made a positive impact in her community as a bus driver for Fluvanna County Public Schools, a hairdresser, and a compassionate caregiver. She was dedicated to her work and took great pride in serving those around her.

Jo Ann is survived by her children: Calvin Perkins (Christel) of Gloucester, Virginia, Nick Perkins of Madison Heights, Virginia, Jerri Anne Arrington (Tim) of Manassas, Virginia, and Nicole Kober (Ron) of Buckingham, Virginia, Pat Breeden of Gordonsville, Virginia; She cherished her role as a grandmother to Amanda Carter, Samantha Brooks, Charles Sensel, Jessica Brown and Anthony Kober; and was a loving Great Grandmother to many. She is also survived by her sister Donna Gayle Wills, and her brother Donald Craig Pace, who will miss her deeply.

Known for her love of dancing and her enthusiasm for decorating for every holiday, Jo Ann brought joy and warmth to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her zest for life, and her ability to make every moment special. Jo Ann’s legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Jo Ann made the decision early in life to help others by donating her body to the Virginia State Anatomical Program.

The family will receive visitors, Saturday, February 1st, 2025, between the hours of 6:00-8:00pm, at Sheridan Funeral Home, 4626 Cedar Lane Road, Kents Store, Virginia.
