Herman Martin Jones

Herman Martin Jones, 96, of Louisa, VA, passed peacefully on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Herman was born on September 15, 1924 to his late parents, Virgil and Lillie Jones. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Irene Mabel Jones. He is survived by his son, James Melvin Jones, of Spotsylvania, VA; his daughter, Rita Jean Morris, of Palmyra, VA; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30pm on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Mount Gilead Baptist Church in Columbia, VA, with a funeral to follow at 1:30pm . Arrangements are being handled by Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, VA.
