Kathy Palmer Williams

Kathy Palmer Williams, 63, of Troy, Virginia, gained her angel wings on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the University of Virginia Hospital. She was born on October 22, 1959, to the late Curtis Palmer, Sr. and Katherine Palmer.  She was preceded in death by her sister Wanda Zirkle and brother Curtis Palmer, Jr. Kathy is survived by her daughter, Kristina (Kristi) Williams (Jonathan Houchens), two grandchildren who she adored and called her “Little Angels”- Kendall Williams and Tucker Houchens; brother Conway Palmer (Sheila Tyree).  She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Kathy was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, and she loved the country music singer Conway Twitty.  She worked over 20 years from open to close at Hilltop Grocery and then went on to work at Hilltop Seafood & Produce. In her free-time, Kathy loved trips to Charlestown to play slots. She had the biggest heart and made a lasting impact on all those around her. The family would like to thank all of Kathy’s doctors, nurses and wound care team and everyone involved with Kathy's care at UVA and MJH. Sheridan Funeral Home will handle all funeral arrangements. A graveside service will be held April 16 ^th at 2 pm at Bybee’s Road Baptist Church, 4989 Bybee's Church Road, Troy with a celebration of life following after at Patch Brewing Company, 10271 Gordon Ave, Gordonsville, Virginia.
