Damian was born in Charlottesville at UVA on Nov 2, 1990 at approximately 2 pm . He came to live with his Grandmother Brenda when he was 6 months old . He graduated from Louisa County High School in 2009. Damian thought he wanted to go to college but could never get his mind with his wants. So after starting his classes at Piedmont, it didn’t last too long. Going to class, at least that is what he told Nanny, turned into riding around for 2 hours. He gave that up after 2 semesters.
His employment has included everything from working at UPS, the morning shift when he had to get up at 3 am , and load ed trucks for 4 hours – which I might add only lasted about 6 months – then doing lawn care – working for a junk yard – and doing nothing for several periods of time.
He finally said in January that he was going to find a job that he really wanted and would like and was going to work and make something of his life. Klockner Pentaplast in Gordonsville hired him and he was working towards advancement already.
Damian loved his Rap music, once in a while I would catch him listening to County music and he would turn it off pretty quickly. Did not want Nanny to know that he liked that. He was a pretty sharp video game player. At one point when he was in one of those “not working periods” he often said he was going to become a professional player and compete! Damian also loved to read – When Harry Potter books came out – I always knew what to buy for him – the next volume.
And he loved math - He could solve a math problem or do algebra easier than most of us could learn our ABC’s.
Among those Damian has left behind to Cherish his loving memories are his Nanny, Brenda Kiser
Malcolm and his 2 sons, David Price and Joseph, his father, Donald Heath Kiser, and sister Tammy Kiser of Lorton, VA.
He is also survived by his beautiful little daughter Khalani and her Mother Mackenzie. A visitation will be held Saturday, June 11 at Sheridan Funeral Home at 1pm followed by a funeral service at Sheridan Funeral Home at 2pm .
