The Winds Footsteps
I marvel at the winds strange ways
to travel far and wide
The quiet footsteps - Boisterous ones
The way he walks with pride
across the busy city streets, on
meadows, fields, and farms, along the
lonely country lanes,
The world within his arms
He blows in fury - cold and rough
without a thought of fear, while
other times, he’s very meek and whispers
in my ear. We never see this creature bold
who fiercely marches in an yet we
listen and we hear. The footsteps of
the wind.
