Sammie Morris

Sammie Morris, 65, of Troy, VA, passed away on October 15, 2022. He was born on November 26, 1956 to Albert and Mary Morris. Sammie is preceded in death by his father, Albert Morris, and brother, Roger Morris. He is survived by his mother, Mary Morris; son, Sammie Morris, Jr.; daughters, Crystal DeOrtiz Hector and Tina Morris (JJ Gibson); brothers, Gary Morris (Susan) and Jamie Morris (Betsey); sister, Patricia Herring (Lionel); nephew, Gary Morris, Jr.; niece, Melissa Dodson and four grandchildren. Sammie enjoyed fishing. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, VA.
