Nellie Richardson

Nellie Virginia Richardson, of Kents Store passed away peacefully on December 20, 2022, at the age of 95. Nellie was born to Wiliam and Eula Morgan on September 23, 1927. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Linwood Earl Richardson, Sr., and her daughter Sharon Perkins. Nellie is survived by her four children: Charlotte R. Kidd, Linwood “Buddy” Richardson (Cynthia K.), Hugh M. Richardson (Mary Lou), and Janice R. Jones (Al), her grandchildren: Matt, Kevin, Warren, Robbie, Morgan, Ashley, and Dorothy Jean, her Great-Grandchildren: Stephen, Jesse, Jackson, Mason, Savannah, Robbie, Lillie, Asia, Alyza, Cooper, Dawson, JJ, Wesley, Levi, Elliana, two great great grandchildren (Asia), a niece, nephews, Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews. Nellie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She spent her life caring for her family and found great joy in being in the company of her loved ones. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday December 26, 2022, at Sheridan Funeral Home, Kents Store, Virginia. A private family service will be held at a later date.
