Eva June Nichols

Eva June Nichols, 78, passed away from natural causes in her home on Saturday, October 30, 2021. She was born on January 16, 1943 in Elizabeth City County, Virginia. She was the sixth of fourteen children born to Albert Burrell McClung and Mary Susan Marie Ratliff McClung. Her family home was in Sinks Grove, West Virginia. Ms. Nichols was a talented quilter and she found joy in making quilts for family and friends. Her yard was her showcase, she spent many hours working in her yard and flower gardens. In her downtime she loved watching westerns and Hallmark movies. She will always be remembered in the hearts of her children, Mary Susan Young, John Alexander Nichols (Deanna) and Anthony Douglas Nichols (Paige). She loved her grandchildren, Caleb, Hailee, Sarah and Luke dearly. The family will receive visitors Thursday, November 4, 2021 between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the home of John and Deanna Nichols, 4260 Shannon Hill Road, Columbia, Virginia. Funeral services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Pickaway, West Virginia on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at New Lebanon Cemetery, Pickaway, West Virginia.
