Patricia Ann Legler

Patricia Ann Legler, 88, of Henrico, Virginia passed away peacefully on July 8, 2023.

Patricia was born January 18, 1935, to Peter and Elizabeth Born. She is preceded in death by both parents, her loving husband Eugene Legler, as well as two of her children Terri and Peter Legler.

Patricia is survived by her children Patti Legler, Mary Kay Burnett (Ronald), Timothy Legler (Christina); her eight grandchildren: Katie James (Madison), Kelly Ozah (Emmanuel), Chris Burnett, Lauren Legler, Ryan Legler, Caden Legler, Adam Legler (Candace), Sarah Legler; her five great grandchildren: Owen, Everett, Abram, Oliver, Logan, and a host of other friends and family.

Patricia was known to most as one of the warmest, most compassionate, loving people you would ever meet. She was humorous and sharp witted, keeping everyone around her laughing.  She was a huge animal lover; she would take in any stray that she would come across and give them a loving home. Patricia looked forward to spending time with her family and friends, especially on Sundays when it was time for her to root for her favorite football team the Washington Redskins. Patricia will be deeply missed by all.

A visitation and funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Road, Henrico, Virginia on Tuesday July 25, 2023.  The visitation will take place an hour before the funeral service between 10-11:00 am, with the funeral service to begin at 11:00am.  Intermittent to immediately follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, Virginia. Norman’s Funeral Chapel will handle all arrangements.
