Nicholas John Paul

Nicholas "Nick" John Paul of Palmyra, VA departed this life on December 30, 2020. He was born on October 7, 1966 in Alexandria, VA to Richard Bruce Paul and Ann Shirley Rowe Paul. His family moved to Florida when he was a child, and that is where he grew up. He played soccer in both high school and college. Nick was employed at S pring Creek Golf Course at the time of his death. Nick loved his family, being outdoors, soccer and golf.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparent s , Earl and Gloria Rowe. He leaves to mourn him his mother, Ann Rowe (George Burke), of Bunker Hill, WV; his brother and best friend, Timothy Paul, of Charles Town, WV; his daughter, Christian Nicole Sands, of Oakland, CA ; his wife, B renda A. Morris, of Palmyra, VA ; and extended family and friends . Thanks to all the staff at UVA Hospital who treated Nick during his illness. Special thanks to the nurses of 6 West, 8 West and 8 North for their professional and loving care. Thanks to Hos pice of the Piedmont for their support of both Nick and Brenda in the last weeks of Nick’s life . Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no formal service at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, VA.
