Travis L. Porter

Travis L. Porter, 49, of Lake Monticello, VA passed away suddenly on April 14, 2021. He is preceded in death by his Brother Michael, Maternal Grandmother Myrtle Shelters, and Paternal Grandmother Bessie Porter. Travis is survived by his wife, Kimberly Koltz Porter, of Lake Monticello, VA, his daughters, Aliana Porter and companion Mike Passanesi and their daughter Serena Passanesi of Louisa, VA and Julianna Porter of Colorado Springs, CO, his parents, Gary and Brenda Porter of Cadyville, NY, his sister Niki Dion and husband Joe Dion of Plattsburgh , NY, his stepdaughters, Cheryl Bridges and her husband Brandon of Louisa, VA, and Chasidy Koltz of Lake Monticello, his father-in-law Roger Koltz and his wife Jewel of Lake Monticello, VA, and sister-in-law Andrea Koltz of Virginia Beach, in addition to many cousins, nieces and nephews. Travis will be remembered by family and friends as a loving & wonderful husband, father, son, friend, and supporter. He loved hunting, camping, and spending time with friends and family. He was always looking to make people laugh with his incredible sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. A viewing will be held in his honor at Sheriden Funeral Home in Kent Store, VA on Wednesday, April 21, from 6-8pm . There will be a Celebration of Life held for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for live plants.
