Brady Marshall Price, 31, of Glen Allen , Virginia, was embraced by our Lord and taken to his eternal home on September 15, 2 022 . He was born on May 22, 1991 in Henrico County, Virginia .
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved parents , Ted and Kim berley Price , of Manakin-Sabot, Virginia .
Also treasuring his memory are h is paternal uncle , Neil Price (Lia) of Richmond , Virginia ; and cousins , Erin Alba (Pat) of San Antonio, Texas, Daniel Price ( Emma ) of Austin , Texas , Angela (Chad) Burgett of Des Moines, Iowa and Stephanie Clohessy (Ryan) of Winston-Salem , NC.
Additionally, his maternal aun t , Claudia Yelton (Frank) of Richmond, Virginia ; uncle , Lance Yelton (Amy) of Pulaski, Virginia ; and cousins , Logan McPherson (Stacy) of Glen Allen, Virginia , Evan McPherson of Powhatan , Virginia , and Mattie Caroline Yelton and Caleb Yelton of Pulaski, Virginia.
He also leaves behind very special and dear friends , Keith and Ann Miller, as well as many treasured friends , too numerous to mention by name.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents , Harold and Faith Price of Maidens, Virginia ; maternal grandparents , Claude and Oreta Y elton of Pulaski, Virginia ; and a unts , Pamela Brehm of Des Moines, Iowa and Sharon Price of Richmond, Virginia .
He grew up in Glen Allen and was a 2010 graduate of Deep Run High School . There he was a valuable and talented member of the v arsity baseball team . He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and spent many evenings watch ing them play with Ted and Kim. He e xcelled in m aking friend s wherever he was , including his time at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and The University of South Carolina . He had a love for the ocean and the Lowcountry of South Carolina. O ne of his USC friends commented that Brady had “more BEST friends than I have friends .”
Much of his work experience was in South Carolina , but his current employer was FedEx in Ashland, Virginia for the past three years .
Everyone who knew Brady felt his big heart and sweet nature. He was a young man who was easy to love. He greatly impacted the lives of everyone he knew through love, humor, and friendship. He was delightful, charming, funny , a great dancer , a music lover and always up for a good time . One of his favorite past times was smoking a cigar outside with family or friends while listening to music. H e was also an avid golfer who delighted in besting his dad on the links . B rady was baptized at Gayton Baptist Church where he participated in youth group activities and mission trips .
Arrangements are being handled by Norman Funeral Chapel at 2982 River Road West Goochland, Virginia . The funeral servi ce will be held at Gayton Baptist Church , 13501 N orth Gayt on Road, Richmond, Virginia on Thursday , September 22, 2022. The family will receive friends for visitation from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. with the service following immediately at 11: 30 a.m. A private interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery . In lieu of flowers please consider making your charitable donation to your local SPCA or Gayton Baptist Church .
