Ross M. Hahl

It is with full hearts and loving memories, that we announce that Ross Hahl, went to be with our Lord on October 31, 2024.

Ross was raised in Colorado and went to college in Greeley. There he met the love of his life and earned master’s degrees in biology and chemistry. Ross and Marcia relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico where they resided for almost 60 years. Ross taught at Manzano High School and coached baseball and wrestling.

While he was teaching, he felt called to ministry and went back to school to study theology.

He left teaching and began a new career serving Christ through Young Life Ministries and much later as a Pastor of Grace Church.

One of Ross’s greatest gifts was accepting and meeting people where they were; a high school parking lot, a coffee shop, a golf course or anywhere the Lord opened a door. His love for Jesus was his lifetime passion. He wanted everyone to know Christ’s love and he chose to live as the best example he could be.

He will be greatly missed by his family and the many people whose lives he touched. We are so grateful for having him in our lives and that he is with our Savior now.

Ross’s legacy lives on through his wife of 67 years, Marcia Hahl, his children, Scott Hahl, Beth Jewell (Dave), Lori Williams (Steve), Julie McKervey, his 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and all those whose lives he touched.

"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing"

2 Corinthians 2:14-15

We will be adding a visual celebration of Ross’s life here and would love for you to add your memories below.
