"God's Got Me"

 

Shanda Lea Thompson departed to her eternal resting place on May 22, 2023.

 

She is preceded in death by her father Horace Cherry, her Grandparents, Louise Burruss, Charles Payne, Grady Cherry Sr. and Lena Cherry Manley.

 

She leaves to cherish her memories three children: Herbert Thompson, Jr., Kadesia Thompson, Jalessa (Derrick) Rivers; her four beautiful grandchildren: Madison, Mikaylah, Devyn, Jackson; her mother Mary Cherry; her siblings: Keith (Sahara) Cherry, Natasha (Kevin) Shelton, Michael (Kimberley) Cherry, Darrell (Rhonda) Cherry, Ricky Cherry; five nephews: Keicon Cherry, Imrhan Cherry, Kevin Shelton Jr., Delante Cherry, Ahlijah Darrell Ellis; two nieces: Keionda Carter, Nashra Cherry; one great-niece: Karrington Carter; her devoted best friend: Tanya Rollins; her lifetime devoted partner and friend Herbert Thompson Sr.; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Evergreen Bibleway Church located at 1576 Evergreen Rd Louisa, Virginia 23093 at 12 P.M. and burial at Rollins Family Cemetery.

A repast will be held immediately after for all family and friends at 67 Holly Springs Dr Louisa, Virginia 23093.
