Shirley T. Blevins

Shirley T. Blevins 81, of Goochland, Virginia, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on January 17, 2024.  

She is preceded in by her parents Charles and Francis Thurston.  She is survived by her Husband of sixty years Jimmy Blevins, son James F. Blevins (Lisa Steeley), brother Howard Thurston, two sisters Mildred Taylor and Lois Salmon, two grandchildren Erika Cox and Renea Cox, five great grandchildren and one special friend Nancy Raplee.  

Shirley was a long-time member of Mizpah Christian Church and a former head of the choir.  A visitation will be held at Norman Funeral Chapel, 2982 River Road West, Goochland, Virginia on Monday January 22, 2024, from 5:00-7:00pm.  Funeral service will be held 2:00pm on Tuesday January 23, 2024, at Mizpah Christian Church, 5257 Old Columbia Road, Goochland, Virginia interment to follow in the church cemetery.
