Shirley Sharpe

Shirley Sharpe 83 of Henrico departed this earth on Friday December 13, 2024. 

Born on May 19,1941, of the late Robert Samuel Lane Sr and Elizabeth Blanche (Mason) Lane. She is the oldest of 5 children. She is survived by one son, Donald Sharpe Sr (Donna); one sister, Sandra Brookman, and 12 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John William Sharpe Jr, two sons, William Michael Sharpe and Larry Wayne Sharpe and also a daughter, Anita Gail Sharpe. 

She enjoyed doing puzzle books and loved ice cream. She was a homemaker, but a hardworking, strong-willed woman. She was a loving mother, kind woman, good friend, and a wonderful grandmother. She was cherished by many. 

Shirley's loss is deeply felt by her immense family and all those who knew her and loved her. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 19,2024 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, Virginia at 2:00PM.
