Jean Carol Allen Swanson

SWANSON, JEAN CAROL ALLEN passed away on May 9, 2019 at The Laurels in Charlottesville. She was born on February 18, 1942 in Goochland County. She was predeceased by her father, John Allen; baby daughter, Brenda; sister, Mary Jane Soles; and brothers, Steve and Lawrence Allen. Jean is survived by her mother, Eula (Parrish) Allen D'Antoni, of Goochland, as well as her devoted daughter, Sylvia Smith of Troy; sons, Steven Swanson of Arrington, Brian Swanson of Cumberland, and Wendell Swanson of Dillwyn. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren: Amanda Sprouse, Angela Warner, Nikki Swanson, Donnie Swanson, Darin Swanson, Stevie Swanson, Shawna Swanson, Shayna Swanson, Kendell Swanson, Dakota Swanson, and Lee Swanson as well as 12 great-grandchildren. Also, she is survived by her sisters Sandra Gee of Harrisonburg; Kim Allen of Williamsburg; and brother, David Allen of Goochland.
