Timothy Rexford Swartz

Swartz, Timothy Rexford, of Henrico County, VA, left us too soon on December 21, 2020 due to complications from COVID-19. He is survived by his wife, Becky; brother, Bruce (Amy); sister, Cyndi (Andy); a daughter, in-laws and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and great nephews. Tim was a graduate of Hermitage High School where he was a trumpet player in the marching band. This love of music allowed him to become a member of the KOS band – first as a trumpet player and then as a sound man. He was also a sound man for Spectrum and Horizon. Tim was an avid football fan, loved the beach and spending time with family. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, grandmother, great aunt and brother-in-law. A private ceremony will take place in Arvonia for family and in the future we will abide by his wishes and have a big party with KOS and Spectrum playing his favorite songs and people telling stories of his wacky adventures. In lieu of flowers, please do something kind for the many healthcare workers that are taking such good care of our loved ones. Arrangements are being handled by Norman Funeral Chapel in Goochland, VA.
