Rickie Tyler

Rickie Tyler, 65, passed away on April 27, 2022 in Laurel, MD. He was born on March 14, 1957 in Washington, DC to Pearl (Dump) Martin and the late Steve Tyler. Rickie is survived by his mother, Pearl (Dump) Martin of Washington DC; his wife of 11 years, Quanita L. Tyler of Laurel MD; two sons, Damien R. Tyler of Richmond, VA and Rickie R. Tyler II (Maxine) of Keswick, VA; grandson, Dezmond Tyler; great-granddaughter, Nyla Tyler of Chesterfield, VA; two brothers, three sisters, father-in-law, mother-in-law, three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, uncle, uncle-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held from 4pm - 8pm on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, VA. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Fluvanna County School Board Office, 14455 James Madison Highway, Palmyra, VA 22963.
