Randall Wade Wiebel

Randall Wade Wiebel , AKA Scooter , departed this life on January 27, 2020. He was born on December 18, 1988 in Charlottesville, Va ., but Fluvanna County was his home for the majority of his life. Randy is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Nancy Bourne Wiebel, his grandparents Reuel A and Betty W. Wiebel and Wade and Faye Bourne. He is survived by his father Rusty A. Wiebel, a unt and cousin, Becky and Reece Wiebel, his significant other, Maria Derosario and their two beautiful children, Vivianna and Sebastian. Randy is also survived by his Grandmother, Linda Weakley and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. There are so many close friends who loved him, too many to mention. Randy loved his children so much. Being a dad made him smile like nothing else could. He and Maria were blessed to share these wonderful kids. His love and knowledge for car engines was undeniable. He was the first to receive calls from so many who needed and valued his expertise. The calls were numerous. His compassionate demeanor and willingness to help without any hesitation, was a huge part of who he was. He loved his job at Auto Teknika. The people and the environment gave him the opportunity to excel at his talent. Cooking was another passion of Randy’s. He loved cooking and sharing his creations with others. It didn’t matter if it was a grill, slow cooker or his newest love, the Instant Pot. He often hosted gatherings to share his food or made extra to take to work to share with his coworkers. Randy had a deep love for animals, especially cats. He was forever rescuing strays and providing them a loving home. His thirst for knowledge was never ending and was a vo racious reader. Our Randy will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We lost him too soon . H e will never be forgotten. The celebration of Randy’s life will be held at Lake Christian Church located at 733 South Boston Road Palmyra, Va. 22963 on Monday February 3rd at 6pm . A reception will follow immediately after at The Maple Room, 10 Slice Road Palmyra, Va. 22963 . In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the charity of your choice in Randy’s name.
